Description Warning: Swearing. It's Romano, what did you expect? xD

"Oi! Ragazza! Wake up!" A voice snapped at you. You pried open your eyes and glared at your Italian husband. He was supporting himself up with his elbow and his other arm was shaking you awake.

"Lovino!" You groaned. "It's too early." You grabbed his arm and pushed it against him before turning and wrapping him into a hug, effectively trapping him.

"(F/n)!" He said, exasperated as he attempted to wiggle out of your grasp. "What do you mean it's not early? It's f*cking 6:30 am! We slept in so get the f*ck up and release me!" You chuckled at the amount of times he swore before your half-asleep mind processed what he said. Your eyes shot open and you released him as you sat up.

"Please tell me you're lying." You said, jumping out of bed and running to the closet.

"I'm not lying." He scowled as he too got out of bed. "And move it ragazza. I'm showering first."

"No way Lovino." You said turning around and poking him hard on his bare chest, forcing him to take a step back. "You're making breakfast and I'm showering first. It's your turn today to make breakfast."

"I woke you up when I could have let you sleep in until you were late!" Lovino argued as he grabbed a suit and some undergarments. "I'm going first. You can go make breakfast."

    "I made breakfast yesterday!"

"I'm running late and I have meetings to attend!" Lovino was beginning to lose his temper and you opened your mouth to retort something back when you noticed the black bags underlining his eyes. What time did he sleep last night? You closed your mouth before sighing. You knew that Lovino had been working harder lately, especially since so much work was beginning to pile up.

"Alright, alright, I concede. Have fun with your shower Lovi. I'll go start breakfast." You said, as you put back your clothing and began to leave the room. What would you make for breakfast today? Lovino obviously did not expect you to give in so easily as he blinked in confusion. He was silent for a bit before sighing loudly.

"D*mmit! Fine! I'll go make breakfast." Lovino said with a scowl as he turned his head to the side. "And don't call me Lovi!" He added as an afterthought. You couldn't help but chuckle at his tsunderness.

"No honestly. I'm making breakfast, Lovino." You said.

    "I said I would, d*mmit!"

"Lovino! We are not arguing about this!"

"Don't tell me what to do, ragazza!"

    "We're wasting precious time arguing!"

"Esattamente! That's why you should just give up and let me make breakfast!"

"Weren't you the one arguing about who was showering first?"

    "I don't give two sh*ts, I-"

"-Will let me cook!" You finished off his sentence for him as you put your hands on your hips. "You were up working late last night and it's not fair if I make you late just because I want to shower first."

    "Ragazza, I-"

"I'll make (C/n dish) today." You thought out loud as you whirled around on your heel and left the room. "Is that okay with you?"

"Sì." Lovino said begrudgingly. "A-and grazie." He added in a much quieter voice.

"What did you say?" You called out, knowing full well what he said. You just loved getting him worked up. "I didn't hear you!"

"I didn't say anything, d*mn it!" Lovino shouted back. You snickered as you got downstairs. You noted that the temperature must have been about 18 degrees Celsius that morning and you sighed, it was probably going to be another hot day in the southern part of Italy. You got down to work and began making breakfast. It was something that could be made quickly since Lovino had to leave by 6:50 am today rather than 7:15 am. You were just about finished when Lovino came down. He was all dressed up in his suit, looking classy and professional. However, you noted a dark handle against his belt.

"What's the meeting for today?" You asked as he sat down and watched you with those hazel eyes.

"Mio fratello wants us to meet with the potato b*stard to talk about some random sh*t." He grumbled.

"Well I mean, if it's politics and trades," You said with a shrug. "Then wouldn't that be important?"

"Maybe." He scowled as he leaned back in the chair. "But I don't give two sh*ts. I don't want anything to do with the potato b*stard." You put the food down in front of him.

"Sorry if it isn't up to your standards." You grinned while he took a bite.

"Your cooking is fine!" He snapped before blushing. "B-but no where like mine of course!" You smiled back at him which only further flustered the poor Italian man. "S-stop smiling at me like that, ragazza! Don't you have your own breakfast to eat!?"

"Sorry." You said as you took a bite of the food. "You said you had other meetings, right?"

"Hm. But they're not that important." He said, looking away and focusing on something else. You had finally realized what that handle on his belt was.

"Really now? Then what's up with the gun?" You smirked slightly as his eyes shot back to you.

    "What gun?" He scowled.

"The one on your belt." You said.

    "I don't have a gun on me!"

"So what's the meeting with the mafia about? Are you trying to deal with something else?" You asked. "Is it drugs? Are you arresting someone?"

"I don't have a gun on me, d*mmit!" He lied, pushing back his chair as he stood up. He glared at you.

"You didn't deny the meeting with the mafia." You pointed out as you took another bite. You were slightly upset he didn't say a word about this with you. He gritted his teeth and scrutinized you with his hazel eyes. "Don't do anything stupid." You told him. "I don't want you coming home injured again." There was a silence.

"I can't tell you what I have to do concerning the mafia. I can only tell you that I'm going as a government representative." The personification of South Italy said with a sigh as he sat down, dejectedly. "If you find out more than that, you'll be in danger." You finished your plate before you snorted.

"I'm the personification of (C/n). I can handle danger." Then your (e/c) eyes softened, your anger soothed by the fact that he had admitted it. "But I understand Lovino." You stood up and kissed him softly on the cheek. His sun-kissed skin darkened as he pressed a hand to his cheek in shock.

"W-what was that for?" He scowled. "Don't do weird stuff like that without warning, ragazza!"

"I have to shower, I'll be late for my video meeting." You said.

"Alright." Lovino said, glancing at the time. His eyes widened. "F*cking h*ll! I'm late! I can't finish my breakfast." He stood up and ran towards the door, quickly grabbing his briefcase as he opened the door.

"Lovino!" You shouted, rushing to him. "The car keys!" He whirled around as you slid to a stop in front of him.

"Grazie." He said as he took it from you. He hesitated before leaning down to give you a kiss on the cheek. "I'm not kissing you on the lips since you haven't brushed your teeth yet ragazza." He scowled despite his reddening cheeks.

"I know." You laughed. "I wouldn't do that either. Now go! You're late!" He began to run out before he stopped and turned around.

"Ragazza." He said with a frown. "Whatever you do, don't open the door. I don't know how the mafia will react. I don't want you to get hurt. If things go bad, they government will secure you for sure."

"I have a gun, Lovi. I'm skilled in fighting, I've trained for war." You smiled. "I should be fine."

"But, still." He said. "Be careful."

"I will." You said and he continued his rush out the door. "Drive safe!" You added, but he ignored you. You knew he probably would go the same speed he usually did. You then stretched and shut the door behind you. Then you checked the time before running up the stairs. You only had 10 minutes before the meeting! You inwardly swore as you grabbed your stuff. You hoped you could finish everything on time.

Time skip

There was a frenzied knock on the door and you froze in the middle of writing down a report for your boss.

"Mrs. (F/n) Vargas?" A voice shouted in perfect English with an Italian accent. "Let us in! There's been an accident with Mr. Lovino Vargas!" You opened up a drawer and grabbed a gun. "Mr. Vargas has been shot! He's currently in the hospital!"

You cocked the gun as you made your way down the stairs. Before you glanced out the window. There were three of them. One woman and two men. They were in suits and seemed professional enough, but you knew, with all your experiences as a country, that appearances could be deceiving. The woman's eyes met yours and as if on cue, both of your eyes narrowed. You regretted not hiding, but you knew that they would have found you anyways.

You also knew that they didn't stand a chance against a seasoned country such as yourself. You longed for the touch of the cold steel hilt of the swords you had once used back in the olden days, the same loyal swords that were coated with the blood of thousands of enemies, but for the moment, you would have to make do with the gun. You had no time to retrieve the swords from the glass casing in which they were displayed. Perhaps if you had the chance to retrieve them you would grab them, since you barely had the chance to use those weapons of yours ever since the age of industrialization and technology rolled in.

The door was kicked down as they strolled in, gun in hand. They walked with confidence as if a ragazza was no match for them. How wrong they were. The moment they lifted their hands to shoot at you, you three bullets had already left your gun.

Two of them had managed to move out of the way of the quick bullets, however, one man was too slow. He went down in a splatter of blood, a cry of pain tearing its way out of his throat and crimson coating the white wall behind him. However, you had aimed to injure, not to kill. Gone were the days of ruthless killing and useless bloodshed. You then turned to the man's accomplices.

"Sorry, I didn't quite hear you." You teased. "What was it about Mr. Vargas being shot?" At the sight of your smile, their confidence quickly diminished. Obviously, they did not expect to come face to face with someone so calm in the face of danger. Perhaps they were expecting a gullible, pampered young lady? Whatever it was, they were wrong.

They quickly lifted their guns and shot blindly, but you rolled out of the way before lifting up your gun and shooting a couple times at the woman. She moved out of the way, continuing to shoot at you. By now you were seriously wishing for your swords but you continued tirelessly with the bullets.

However, in your distraction with the woman, the uninjured man had come up to you and attempted to best you in close combat only to be further surprised when he found himself held at gun point as you shoved the man in front of you. The woman's bullet found its way into his side. Judging by the fact that the woman wasn't aiming for one of your vital spots, you guessed that they were aiming to capture you for leverage.

"Stalemate." You let out a feral grin. You hadn't been into an actual fight besides training in such a long time. You were glad to know that your skills had not diminished. There was the sound of sirens and the woman's eyes widened as she realized what you meant. Lovino was bound to be here soon. She glanced at her teammates, back at your face, then back at her teammates before scowling and turning tail. She wouldn't get far. Lovino was bound to catch her.

"(F/n)!" A voice shouted. "D*mmit, those b*stards kicked down the door!" It was the familiar voice of your Italian husband but you still didn't let up on your hold. The man tried to worm his way out, but you pressed the cold barrel of the gun harder into his temple, forcing him to stop.

"(F/n) answer me!" Lovino shouted as he entered the house, a police force right behind him. His hazel eyes darted around the room before resting on your figure holding the man hostage.

"You're home early." You grinned and he sucked in a sharp breath. The police immediately restrained the attackers and you released your hold on the man. "One woman managed to escape, she got away in a black car heading towards (street name)." One man shouted an order and some of the men ran out into their police cars to pursue the said woman. You watched them before turning to Lovino and gave him a grin. "How was your day so far? Mine's been great so far."

"Don't f**king smile at me like that after you get attacked." Romano scowled as he made his way towards you. His designer suit was wrinkled and dirty as if he got into a scuffle. In one hand, he held his gun while his other hand was clenched. He stopped right in front of you and scanned you for injuries. "Did they hurt you?"

"They didn't land a hit on me." You winked. "Who do you take me for? I'm Mrs. (F/n) Vargas, personification of (C/n), I have to be able to handle getting attacked." You pulled him into a hug and he tensed up.

"Didn't I tell you to not do stuff like this without warning ragazza?" Your Italian husband snapped, but he made no effort to push you off. You could feel him tremble, which reminded you that despite his tough exterior, in a fight against other countries, he was bound to retreat or surrender. You pulled back and straightened out his tie.

"Signore Vargas?" A man asked. "Do you want us to take signora Vargas with us?"

"Sì." He said as he turned to face them. You frowned and sent a scathing glare towards your husband. You grabbed his tie, effectively getting his attention.

"What do you mean 'let them take me with them'? I'm not going with them!" You scowled. "Lovino! I can handle myself."

"You're in danger!" Lovino snapped, pulling his tie away from your grasp. "The family members of the government people involved in this...er...problem is under protection. You were the only one that had not yet been secured. Also, since you are technically in a sense, a liaison from (C/n), we have to protect you, d*mmit!"

"Lovino, don't you dare do this!" You hissed. "I have to work."

"You're going to stay in my office, ragazza." Lovino said, sounding confident. "You'll be safe there. And you can bring your laptop and your paperwork."

    "Lovino!"

Time skip

"How was your meeting?" You asked as you put another sheet of paper into a file labelled 'finished work'.

"Horrible." Lovino groaned as he shut his office door and sat down in his seat. "The higher ups gave a lot of sh*t about what happened, what I failed to do, etc. Those b*stards. I'd like to see them last as long as we did."

"Hm." You muttered, glancing at the clock. 2:30 pm. "What time will I be able to go home?"

"When I leave." Lovino replied smugly. "You're not allowed to leave without me, as your boss had ordered you." You scowled at that. In order to get you under control and to come with him willingly to his office, they called your boss in (C/n), regardless of what time it was there and told them what happened. Your boss had commanded you to follow Lovino and to not leave without him.

"Whatever." You replied with a slight frown.

"Fratello! Fratello!" Feliciano burst into the room. "I heard about the attack on your house! Scusate, I was securing the family members of the other government members! Is mia cognata okay?"

"Sì." Lovino scowled at the northern personification of Italy. "She's fine."

"Hello Feli!" You said with a grin. "How are you?"

"Bella!" Feliciano cheered. "I'm so happy that you're alright!" You stood up, ready to accept the hug you knew was coming. As if on cue, Italy grabbed you into a hug and squeezed. You laughed and hugged him back.

"You didn't think that they'd be able to get me, did you?" You teased. Feli gave you a sad look.

"They've gotten fratello before." He reminded and you shivered.

"Right. Please don't remind me." Just the mere thought of that day made you want to hug Lovino and never let him go.

"B*stard, get your hands of her!" Lovino exclaimed. He had stood up sometime during your conversation with Feli and proceeded to pry Feli's hands off of you.

    "B-but, fratello! She's mia cognata!"

"Don't you have work to do?"

"Ve~fratello has more work than I do!" Feliciano smiled and tilted his head slightly. "Shouldn't you start working? Ah! I know, I'll take bella with me so you can work in peace!"

"She doesn't bother me!" Lovino scowled before his eyes met yours and he turned his head to avoid looking at everyone else. "A-and plus, she has her own work to do as well! She's not allowed to leave." You sighed and looked at Feliciano.

"Sorry. I can't." You smiled. "Maybe next time?"

"Sì! Anyways I'm going to go drive around and see if I can find anything else! We should all get together and have some pasta soon!"

"Alright, I have nothing against that. But maybe we should wait until all of Lovino's paperwork stuff diminishes."

"That's going to take a while bella." Feli said with a frown. "Fratello is in charge of a lot of the problems concerning the mafia you know and since they are acting up more than usual, fratello has a lot of paperwork."

"Really now?" You muttered as you turned around to glare at Lovino. "I thought that today's problem concerning the mafia just arose again sometime in the last few days." Lovino just glowered at you and Feli, realizing the situation, laughed nervously.

"Ve~ Bella, fratello probably just forgot." He said, nodding quickly. You were surprised that he was able to read the atmosphere. "Sì, he forgot. I'm sure he-"

"Fratellino, leave." Lovino told his younger brother without looking away from you.

"B-But fratello!" Feli began to whine. Lovino scowled at him.

"Listen to me d*mmit! Go away!"

"Ve~ Bene. Goodbye (F/n)!" Feliciano smiled as he gave you a quick hug despite the tense atmosphere. You returned it before letting your arms drop, (e/c) eyes trained on the older Vargas brother before you. Feliciano quickly slipped out the door, not wanting to be caught in the middle of a fight.

"So." You cleared your throat. "Mafia stuff, huh?"

"So what?" He retorted. "Your country has problems like gangs too!"

    "That's not the point!"

    "Then what is the point!?"

"You promised me that after that incident, you would tell me everything!" Your fists were now clenched. "What if something like that happened again? I let it go this morning because you admitted it, but how long has this been going? If what Feliciano is saying about the fact that your workload is more due to the mafia, then you've been hiding this from me for at least two weeks now. Tell it to me straight out, what have you been doing concerning the mafia and how long has this been going on for?" You were trying to control your anger, but it was getting harder to do so.

Lovino scowled at you, but withheld nothing from you. "Busting the mafia's exploits and it's been going on for three weeks. Happy now?" His voice had already begun to rise and that only served to make you even more angry.

"No, I'm not! That means you've been lying to me all this time! What else have you been lying to me about?"

    "Nothing! That's all, d*mmit!"

"How can I be sure? How do I know you aren't lying to me again?"

"I'm not! D*mmit, why can't you trust me?"

"I do trust you! But I know you tend to hide things like this from me so I don't worry and I don't like that!" You snapped back. "But you already betrayed a part of my trust! What if it happens again? What if the mafia ends up taking you and hurting you for this again? How would I know when to come and help you? How would I know anything? I don't want you to get hurt again!" At that sentence, Lovino's anger faded, leaving behind a guilty feeling. He could see how much just thinking about that horrible time was affecting you.

Hesitantly, he made his way around the desk to come face to face with you. "Mi dispiace, mia amore." Lovino muttered, lifting up a hand and tentatively touching your face in an attempt to calm your anger. "I didn't want to worry you again after that time."

"Well it's a terrible idea." You snapped back as soon as that sentence left his mouth and brushed aside his hand. It was much harder to calm you down after your anger had been sparked.

"I know that now, d*mmit!" He retorted.

"Well you should have known that before too! I told you that already!"

    "Yeah, but-"

    "But nothing! It's inexcusable!"

"I know! And I already said I was sorry! Can't you just accept it?"

"Actions speak louder than words, Lovino Vargas!" Was your angry reply. You turned and made your way out of his office only to have him grasp your elbow.

"Where do you think you're going, ragazza?"

"If I stay anywhere close to you, I'm not going to be able to rein in my temper." You took a deep shaky breath. "I need to calm myself down."

"As if I'll let you leave!" He shot back. "The mafia might still target you!"

"I'll say in the building!" You attempted to pull away from him but he refused to let go. "We're both losing our tempers quickly and if we don't calm down, this will become an enormous fight!" Already, you were losing your temporary composure that you had regained.

    "But-"

"For crying out loud, just give in for once!" You cried out in frustration. "Give me some time alone! I don't want to make this worse than it already is!" At that, you managed to pry out of his grasp and quickly walked away from his office.

"(F/n)! Wait!" Lovino shouted after you. "D*mmit!" You then heard him cursing at himself in his native language as you fled to the woman's washroom. As soon as you burst through the door, you took deep breaths as you glared at your flustered visage in the mirror.

Breathe in. Breathe out. In. Out. In. Out. You repeated over in your mind as you closed your eyes. In. Out. After counting to ten, you pried open your eyes and gave a start at the sight of Lovino in the mirror at the door.

"Lovino? How the h*ll did you know I was going to be in here? Wait, better question, what the h*ll are you doing in the woman's washroom? Out! Out!" You stuttered.

"Lucky guess." He said, looking uncomfortable. "I'm not leaving until you talk to me."

"Well aren't you determined." You huffed. "I said give me some time. I mean it."

"What can I do to make up for it?" Lovino asked, running a hand through his brown locks. You scowled at him as you began to push him out.

"I don't know. Think of something I like doing or something I want you to do. And no, buying things won't work." You shoved him out. "I'll be back in twenty minutes. Right now, just go away."

"Will that make up for it?" Lovino grumbled in sarcasm before walking out. You took a deep breath before pulling out your cellphone. Who to call? Maybe Antonio, personification of Spain will know what to do? He did raise Lovino after all. You attempted to do only to be told that the line was busy. You sighed and flipped through your contacts. Feliciano? No, the northern personification of Italy didn't help much earlier. Francis? Well, the personification of France, albeit a bit perverted, wasn't the country of love for no reason. With a sigh, you dialed his number.

"Bonjour, (F/n)." Was the reply you got. You immediately got down to business.

"Francis, I need your help. It's about Lovino." You sighed, rubbing your face in tiredness.

"Oh? Again? Whatever is the problem this time, ma chérie?"

"He was hiding the fact that the mafia was acting up again. I don't know what to do at this moment."

"Did you try to hear him out."

"I did and we only ended up getting mad at each other."

"Well, what happened? Big brother Francis can't help you if you don't go into detail." So at that sentence, you spent five minutes summarizing what happened.

"I think you should try to be a little more patient, (F/n)." Was the older nation's reply. "Oui, he did break a promise, but it sounds like he had good intentions."

"He did, but the fact that he hid it from me in the first place-"

"What would you have done if the gangs in your country started doing the same?" Francis chuckled. "You've had many problems with them too."

    "Yeah but-"

"Sh, let me talk (F/n)." Francis soothed you. "Before you get into a big fuss again. You and Lovino are alike in many ways. You are confident in your own skills and wouldn't inform Lovino of gang problems because you believe that you can deal with it alone. Lovino is the same when it comes to his country's mafia. You wouldn't want him to worry, do you?"

    "Well no." You replied hesitantly.

"To prevent him from worrying, what would you do?" You were silent as his question, prompting the older nation to repeat his question. "Well, (C/n)? What would you do?"

    "Not tell him."

    "Exactement." Francis said.

"So what should I do now?" You sighed. "Love is so confusing." Francis made a small noise of understanding.

"Well, I agree with you that he is in the wrong if he broke a promise. I'm sure he'll come around in his own time. Until then, let him work things out himself.

"What the heck." You sighed. "Alright, if you think so."

"I know so." The personification of France promised. You gave a wry grin. "If anything, he's probably calling Antonio right now to try to help him find out what he can do to make it up to you." That would explain why Antonio couldn't be reached at the moment.

"Thanks Francis." You said. "I'll go check up on him now. I promised I would be back in his office in twenty minutes."

    "Ohonhonhonhonhon. What could happen there~?"

"Francis!" You chided. "Anyways, I have to go. See you. Thank you for all your help."

"De rien, (F/n). Bon chance." You hung up before proceeding to make your way to your Italian lover's office. As you got to the door of the office you heard him speaking on the phone.

"D*mmit Antonio, if this doesn't work, I'll throw tomatoes at you!" Lovino snapped. "Anyways, I have to go, (F/n) said she'd be back by now. But if this doesn't work..." He let the threat trail off before hanging up. You opened the door and entered into the office.

There was that awkward moment as you both assess the other person's face, wondering who would speak first. Lovino flushed a dark crimson before taking a deep breath.

"I'll make it up to you for breaking the promise." He stammered out. "I can take a few days off and spend them with you. If you want, we can go back to (C/n) and spend a few days there for vacation. I know I haven't been spending a lot of time with you. I can update you on what's going on with the mafia too if you want." Your stern facade broke into a slight smile.

"Alright." You said with a grin at the prospect of spending some quality time with your husband after a long period of hard work and country problems. "I realized that if I was in your position, I would probably have the same thing to avoid you getting worried about me." Lovino's response was the look at you with narrowed eyes.

"Are you saying you've been hiding some problems from me too?"

"Not recently!" You stammered out, turning crimson. "But I'll tell you if something comes up and you do the same, okay?" Lovino continued glaring at you through narrowed eyes.

    "So how about before recently?"

"Nothing as bad as yours!" Was your retort. "So can we promise on this one?" Lovino blushed and looked away.

"Sure." He tried to sound casual on it but you refused to let him get away with it so easily.

    "Say you promise."

"I already agreed, isn't that enough!?"

"Say it out loud that you promise!"

    "Fine, I promise, happy?"

"Yes. Very." You gave him a small smile which prompted him to look away from you in embarrassment. "So anyways, about those few days you were planning on taking off to spend with me, that would definitely make up for your broken promise. Plus, I promised Feliciano that we would eat out with him later, didn't I?"

"D*mmit, (F/n), I said spend time with you, not Feliciano!"

18 degrees Celsius that morning and you sighed, it was probably going to be another hot day in the southern part of Italy

That'll be a miracle in Indonesia if the temperature is that low
mostly the temperature in Indonesia here is around 28-34
can be lower and higher o-o
tbh that'll be cold af in Indonesia lol

I must say: This series is one of the best I've read on dA, whether the parts were related to each other or not. I absolutely love how you "recreate" the characters quite accurately. I love reading these, though I haven't gotten to them all due to laziness on my part... But keep up the good work! This series is truly excellent.

Actually, 18°C isn't hot. Its more of a cold weather. It could've been a little higher to mention that it's already a hot weather.

Not trying to sound rude or a know-it-all or anything. Just trying to point out something.

FrozenCrystalRose In reply to VOCLAOID-Magnet [2015-08-14 23:14:24 +0000 UTC]

No, it's okay ^_^ It helps to hear criticism. I wrote the story back when it was colder here in Canada, so for me (back then), 18°C was warm for me xD Thank you for telling me that! I'll keep it in mind and edit this later when I have time ^_^

I love this series! It is so fun to read the interactions between each character and their wife. Oh, maybe after this series you could do one about the couples finding out they are expecting. I would love to see the reactions for that one. Lol Also I can't believe how much of a badass I am! Lol

OH. MY GOODNESS.
Aira you have no idea how much i freakin love this series. i absolutely LOVE how every story is deifferent, but its all about being overburdened--and this, THIS! It has action, mafia, arguments, its on a WHOLE NEW LEVEL OF AMAZINGNESS! i love how in character lovino is, with all his cussing and potato b*stards, and how you included Feliciano as well! I also love how you included the fact that countries can fight and be bad*ss to protect themselves and their loved ones!
at first i was a little startled when you chose the Mafia, as Mafias aren't supported by the government, but when you explained Lovino's role everything fit together!  AND LOVINO'S CHARACTER. Its so spot on the heavens have granted you with a special power. I love the tension and epicness in the battle scene, as well as how the reader and lovino called others for advice, and once again, that is just so Romano. And hiding secrets to keep the one you love face-- can this get any fluffier and better and more in character for Romano?
This is honestly the best Romano x reader I have read-- he's so in character, his tsundere-ness, cussing, secret concern, perfect! the storyline is also perfect, especially how the reader isn't much involved in the mafia in the first place! the arguement in the morning was perfect, and geez, i can't describe it anymore! AND THE LAST LINE. You finish all your stories with just the right dose of fluff and humour!
I really love this series, no, I love your writing skills, its amazing! I just can't get enough of it!
((I'm sorry i'm so late..))

I'm so sorry for the late reply! Every time I try to write something that can thank you for your kind words, I just can't find what to write xD Every time I reread this comment, I have to smile, like all the time xD

I'm so glad that you love my series and that you are really really happy with the way this one turned one! ^_^ I'm so glad that you love how different this one is and that you noticed how in-character they are. I'm glad that I managed to surprise you with the mafia thing I hoped that it would be different from all those other mafia stories or at least most of them. This has to be one of the best comments I've ever received in my life and I wish that there was a button that would go beyond just 'feature', unfortunately, that is the only way I can show you how much I love your comment and you~

Even though the battle scene was terrible, I'm glad that you found it satisfactory ^_^ And you won't believe how happy you've made me by telling me that this is one of the best Romano x Reader fanfictions that you have ever read! Thank you so much, thank you, thank you, thank you!

(And I'm so so so so sorry for the late reply!)

Now here's a bunch of hugs for you!

One of the many reasons why women love Lovi is because of his love for tomatoes and the fact that there's about ninety-nine percent chance that he'll cuss while throwing tomatoes at you after getting him mad of extremely flustered. xD

That was a great story (I sort of imagined being the personification of Mexico as there are similar problems with drug cartels unfortunately and part of my family came from Mexico and one of the most common weapons used is a machete, which is like a sword, so it seemed to fit with the story).

Thought this was well written.
