The first Pokemon game I ever played was leaf green, and on that play through was the third strongest member of my team Pan the Mankey who later became a Primeape, this picture just strengthens my love for this Pokemon.

I really like Mankey. I just never had a use for it though. I really want it and Primeape to get an Alola form.

it would have been nice to see an alola form, maybe breathe some new life into it. What would you have liked to see from it? Anything specific?

I didn't have anything specific in mind, but maybe give it a second typing that either fits with its dex entry or goes against it. Primeape are said to always be angry so maybe a fire, electric, or dark type to go with it and make it even more extreme or maybe an ice, fairy, or psychic type that could go against it and that version would always be chill and zen. Other than that, maybe just give it more of a body? It seems like they're based on baboons, so maybe make it look more like a mandrill. And maybe give it its tail back and try to do something cool with it.
