this is my sponge fakemon i got the idea from a little convo with the wonderful hopefully i didn't ruin any plans this just popped into my mind and i had to do it...no spongebob jokes

these pokemon live on the bottom of the ocean. they soak up water and eat whatever little floaters they soak up. they can also perform photosynthesis which confuses scientists. they can last outside of water for hours and hours as long as they have soaked up water. they are very slow and can't wove unless pushed by currents. in battle they rely on using streams of water they jut shoot of certain holes in the body to move them in a certain direction. the evolved form "buds" rather then lays eggs and is almost always seen with "babies" they are one of the only known pokemon that breeds without a gender or pokemon of opposite sex

they are water type

the first evolves into the second at level 19
