Died last night in my dreams
Walking the streets
Of some old ghost town
I tried to believe
In God and James Dean
But Hollywood sold out
Saw all of the saints
Lock up the gates
I could not enter
Walked into the flames
Called out your name
But there was no answer
And now I know my heart is a ghost town

All the machines
Had been disconnected
Time was thrown at the wind
And all of my friends
Had been disaffected
Now, I'm searching for trust

A city of vampires

Water always has been Ivory's favourite place. It calmed her down. Something others couldn't do when she was in panic.
Her herd life was as usual. Nothing special happend and most part of the day was spend in the herd grazing. But Ivory wanted more. Especially apart from the herd. She wasn't really part of it, even though her father was the herd leader. She wanted something new, but nobody could give it to her. Nobody but herself.
The island, which the herd called home, was big. Many things there were left to explore, but it was against her fathers rules to do so. So she stayed close to the herd, like a good girl. The closest she came to adventure was when she went a little further than the big lake and when she was swimming in the ocean. From the beach there you could see other islands, but nobody knew what was there. On a good and bright day you could might see other living things on that shore. But those days were rare and nobody ever saw somebody or something.
Ivory was still in training to learn het powers, they were weak but dangerous when she got out of control.
She walked to the beach of the nothern side. Her markings were glowing bright in the almost darkness of the night. It gloomed up the area around her. But she couldn't enjoy her walk to the fullest. With the darkness coming it was time to go back to the herd, according to the rules.

''Ugh so many rules.'' she groaned. She hated the rules of her father. And she actually loved her father. Even though she doubted he was feeling the same about her.

Ivory trotted against the shore back to the herd. But suddenly she stopped in the forest. No. She didn't needed to go back to the herd for the protection. Nothing ever happend on the island and if there was anything going to happen she could protect herself. She is the goddamn daughter of the powerful Sesamantur. At least she could disctract or injury her attacker and flee.
She started trotting the other was to the big lake. It was going to be the place she would spend the night. With her own rules and the calmness of the water.
