As usual when I start out writing critiques, let me start of with saying: AWESOME!
Anyways, I'd say you've really out done your self with this pic. Though it looks like you're line art could still use a little work. Never the less, you can hardly tell, and it's not really bad at all.
The way you posed BRS, is just awesome. As so for her trade mark flame. The glowing effects are awesome too.
You gave her a whole new feel I've never seen before. At, least not at this level. The expression on her face gives - at least to me - a sense of nostalgia, as she looks at the star shaped accessory she's holding in her hand. As she recalls the friend she'd lost - from what I remember from the pilot episode. (spoilers aside.)
The way you pieced this together, really does give the sense as if this were from a Manga. As you placed the scene where she's looking at the palm in her hands, and the accessory on the left.
The colors really complement one another, as so does the chessboard pattern background, and chains. The glowing effects are pretty neat too.

as for critique, I think the hands look a little pointy and you could've had darker shadows and a brighter light to put more emphasis on the light. Which, I think, would've looked really good

this is AWESOME! but since you ask for a critique, the first thing that caught my eye was that her thumb should be a little bit lower on her hand b/c her thumbs and fingers shouldn't all start around the area of the knuckle
