I hated it when one of them kicked away that board in the Yao Guai tunnels and jumpscared the hell out of me.
By the way, this looks amazing!

The bears could be tough and fast. Thanks!

Thanks! They say when dealing with an angry bear in real life, not to stare it in the eyes, but stay calm and try to look threatening, making loud sounds.

staying calm is important. i live in a pretty rural area and i have seen bear pretty close(on my property before) i almost ran into one, this one night while taking out the trash. i got to about 5 feet of it before i realized what it was, just stayed calm and backed away slowly and got inside quick.

Nicely handled. When I was a kid also in the country, we used to have a fenced in area to protect the garbage and we'd sometimes see the bear hanging out there. They have an excellent sense of smell.
I used to camp in a tent many years before that in the backyard, filling the tent with lots of snacks and junk food while reading comics during the summer nights. The bear population was much smaller back then thankfully.

Ha ha! Good one.
I bet the Yao Guai Bear, with the animal friend perk in effect, would eat the sugar bombs. Thanks for the comment!

You've played Fallout?

Yeah, I remember you're a fan of the Fallout series also. I load the game up every now and then to this day.
Fallout 3 is still my favorite game of all time, can't wait for Fallout 4.

Indeed, the Fallout series has to be one of my top 3 favorite game series if not of all time. It's also one of the ways I come up with various characters due to it's character creation and freedom to do whatever you wish with the character. I currently play Fallout: New Vegas at the moment since I never really, fully played that game, and I'd really enjoy it expansive content.

Agree. Fallout New Vegas wasn't as dark but it still had a lot of memorable moments. I have the PS3 version, so it's got its share of bugs, crashes, etc. Those orange winged flying wasps were the toughest at first. I have to use VATS to get them up close.
I never got the DLC for Vegas, but really enjoyed Point Lookout and the DLC for Fallout 3's GOTYear edition.

I bought at least 3 or 4 of the DLCs (Honest Hearts, Old World Blues, Dead Money, Gun Runners' Arsenal). I will agree with you on that, Fallout 3 was more gritty, and the gameplay was definitely more stable and things didn't move as awkwardly. Fallout 3 just had this sort of tone to it.

And those 'orange-winged flying wasps' are Cazadors. They are mutated Spider Hawks and they're very tough because of that nasty, poisonous stings of theirs. They're the devil, I swear.

Yeah, the Cazadors. I remember their first attack nearly wiped my character out. Any Vegas DLCs like point lookout's giant map? Thanks.

If you're looking for something eerie and dark like Point Lookout, I'd suggest the Dead Money DLC. You're stuck in this town full of this poisonous cloud stuff, forced to fight for your life against these mutants called 'Ghost People'. The only way to kill them is by severing their limbs.

If you're looking for something with A LOT of content, I'd suggest Old World Blues. However, I didn't play Old World Blues much, though I am getting back into Fallout so I might check it out again. I never tried Lonesome Road though.

Thanks for the info on those DLCs. I plugged in New Vegas Fallout the other day and like the game though it could use more enemies spaced out in the empty world. In that case, the DLC will no doubt help if I try it out.

You're welcome. And yeah, New Vegas is rather spacious and for the most part for no purpose. Only sometimes you'll get something crazy (like if the have the Wild Wasteland Trait, you can find aliens).

Pretty much the transitional phase between Black Bear and Yao Guai.

Agreed. He's not as gruesome as the full mutant Yao Guai from Fallout 3, though this was drawn from memory.
