Description She was waiting a long time for this. Finally the bird showed up from the edge of the sky. She untied a little piece of paper from the bird's foot and went to the shore.. Noone could find her here.
Her heart was beating like crazy as she unfolded it..

Ok! Let's get serious.. This is my first try to draw realistic looking pic with my new Death wacom Hope you like it, i spent more than 2 weeks to make it. The lace was such a pain
Photoshop CS2. Hundreds of layers and may new techniques used. Mainly natural brushes.

This is a really great effort for your first serious try at a digital drawing.

BTW, I know what the secret message is.

It said that in a land called Greece there lives a mega awesome woman called Irene who is very easy on the eyes when you look at her. As a matter of fact she is the reverse of Medusa and any lucky male who looks at her instead of turning into stone they fall instantly in love with her. Also, she is mega talented and super organised and likes to party big time and can kick butt when she needs to.

Doing pictures like this really takes a long time ... I can understand it too ... the lace looks excellent! You've achieved a tactile look to it as well. Really really great work on it. I love how there is this sense that the woman herself, is really close to nature. It has an elemental feel to it. Good tale behind it also ... very intriguing.

Great job with your first Wacom pic . I think you conquered it from the outset. Some people don't achieve this level of detail even though they have been using their tablets for ages.

I made a flower and leafs and repeated them rotating them randomly to create a pattern that wouldn't look very unnatural and straight
Then i used Edit> transform>warp to put each piece in the corset. About 15 layers as i can remember.

But if you have Photoshop 7 there will be no warp option

The rocks where smudged in lighten/darken option and dogded/burned with a natural brush!
