Mari's popularity is mainly due to all the art of her circulating around. I haven't gotten anything in a while though, or update my fanfic of her, and since I'm working on a line Espada I feel like she's kinda fading into the background. XD But it's not a big deal, I want people to know me for more than just Mari, so I'm trying to branch away from her a bit. ^^

Nah, I never watched the anime before, it's the basketball one, right? I have written a commission for it, but don't know much else about it. Seems to be really popular. I wish I had the time to watch all of these popular anime circulating around, some of them look really interesting.
Haha, well, it's hard to know whether she was the first or not, after all, there could have been others made that just weren't posted on DA. But she probably is one of the first.
