Familiarity and a strange sort of excitement settles in her heart. A comfortable rage rises in her throat, stretches into her limbs and buzzes in her veins. Now this is what I know… She narrows her eyes at the stoic, scarred mare and stops a hoof. Water splashes all around them with the force.

The soothing sound of trickling water and morning songbirds is drowned out by their intense interaction. Darius raises her head, displaying her height and power. She lifts her leg high just as the pale mare goes for another stomp, the two both come down with huge splashes. The cool droplets do not ease their rage. Alright pesky little mare, show me what you got, Darius challenges quietly.
