I've been drawing too many Pokemon girls...more than you guys know, so I made a sketch as a refresher, and then I decided to make it an "end of the year" drawing. I put all of my skills into this one, including a crude background! This is what happens when Fudge really tries...kinda underwhelming, but whatever. ^_^; *insert raspberry noise* I"mma gonna link something from a year ago. Progress, progress...it's so slow trying to get good.So, have you made the kind of progress you'd like to see this year? Didn't find time to practice in 365 days? Just wanna scream at 2016? It's a very complex pose. Pulling that off shows more than you know; it's like those Olympic skaters/divers/acrobats who do something unflashy and get a high score as the commentators assure us it was "very technical." Effort-per-response, yeah, front double biceps in bikini will get more attention.
All that to say, it's a good drawing, one you could not have pulled off a year ago. Best of luck in 2017 and merry Christmas.

Tell me about it. Sometimes I feel like people prefer things with the technical requirements of a doodle...but then my gallery should be super popular right? I've got pages of garbage doodles! XD Β The reality is that I still need to learn a lot of stuff.

This is how I see it: learning, striving, and practicing on getting better is the best part of getting better, ya know?

Don't feel bad. That wasn't the point of me asking for comments. ^-^; As someone with only a couple years experience under their belt, I still understand how hard it is to get better.
