Hiddleston (who my mind have decided to name Henderson) plays Loki in the Avengers. Little sisters *Ai-Pai and ~Angelsteardrop is fangirling.~fuegokid is too hipster to care about the Avengers and celebrities in general.
Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeah ~fuegokid really is that derp around celebrities when she sees/meets/is in the same space as a celebrity.

Hiddleston is well known to be the biggest fan girl of his own character, though. He absolutely adores playing Loki, so... he's in for it.

Oh, I cannot deny it (or affirm it), perhaps he surely enjoys playing Loki character and certainly he gave Loki a deep side that comics haven't, which is good and made all us happy. And surely it also has helped to become "that" popular and getting a big paycheck because the movies.
Still I don't know the person behind, so I cannot juzgue, but I think we aren't talking about one of those Hollywood stars that are always crowned by hunder of people that kiss the ground where they stept; there is a difference between "actor" and "star" and I think he rathers fit the first role, so I find people (and mostly fangrrrls) attitude towards those popular characters (and him) is just... scaring. I feel bad when I surf on DA and Pixiv galleries and I see all those slash and MarySue pics portraying his persona; you need some guts to be able to deal with such things.

Well it appears that the difference between Hiddleston and say, Brad Pitt is more that by his nature Tom is humble and sweet toward people outright. I saw an interview with him that he hadn't been aware of JUST how popular he was getting, he seemed excited as well as a bit flustered. He'll get used to it.

You made a point here. He seems to be more into British TV and not Hollywood; he's not (at least not yet) one of those so-called "pretty-face" stars from Hollywood as Brad Pitt is. But precisely that's what makes the whole scenary even more scaring... Hollywood stars are created to crown people, to be an ideal-hero and sexy figures, and basically those roles part of their job; even if it's mean to be used like that, I find BradPitt deals quite fine with the fact of being many women's personal sex phantasy or whatever.
I also remember something that happened to a closer friend of mine who happens to be quite pretty: she met Viggo Mortensen in certain event on my country (Spain) and the guy made a move on her. She was really scaried because "He thought because he's popular, he can hit any girl around".. That's not humble at all!
I've seen many people says Mr. Hiddleston is a humble and correct person on interviews and else; I don't know because the language barriers: I just cannot follow the interviews I've seen on youtube.

Recentely I met him in person in Madrid (my homecity) and mostly of people acted like normal and civilized persons... but some fans were really creepy around him; apparentely certain ones are usual in his public apparitions. I found it so really displeasing.
