I love his hand at the back of her head ... holding, but just not quite. It's still the first place my eye goes. I love the creases in his shirt, especially around the shoulder itself (or in the crease of her elbow, or even the corner of the sofa cusion). Like I said, something that would never even cross my mind, but a huge detail when it's done so life-like. I just noticed her fingers here too ... hadn't caught it in the sketch. That is, the two fingers forward a bit. Feels like action, and playfulness (to me at least).
And I forgot to ask you before, but did you do the mask while it was upside down, or did you turn the paper upside down to draw the mask? I'm really very curious.
(And I can see her smile ... both at the corner of her mouth, and just her expression itself. Like the smile is even in her cheek, nose, and eyes.)

His hand was the only thing about him that really gave me trouble this time (probably because he kept moving it...). I did indeed draw the mask upside-down; I had a reference photo, which I also turned upside-down, and drew it that way. I turned it right-side up to check proportions, but I needed to keep it the way it was in order to have a proper reference to gravity, if that makes any sense.
I'm glad her expression settled into something readable - I always wonder when I'm drawing her! And I'm still learning when it comes to fabric. I definitely need more practice!
