Edlund likes to pander to the slash fans. I don't know why anyone would seriously expect Dean and Castiel to actually kiss on the show anyway. That's what art and fanfic is for. Write or draw whatever you want. Go wild, like you did! Everyone to their own taste. The CW wants advertising dollars, not controversy. If SPN was on cable TV, then maybe Destiel would have happened by now. But free TV? Sorry. No.
