I do make some of my own toys out of clay but most of the ones you see in my gallery are customs.

O-O my stuff is really rough (very textured and quite intentionally), it looks smooth cause I took the picture when the sun was out and really bright.)

I think the key to looking smooth it water though, i never add enough to mine so I get a nice textured look, but if you add enough water you'll get really smooth finishes. (so I've been told)

by add water do you mean add water to the clay mixture, brush it with water or some other method??

That'd be just fine if I hadn't hand painted him and he was mass produced. Also the original figure I purchased was $25 dollars He's long gone and Sold just fine at that $75 dollars.
