The relationship between the foreground and the background is excellent; a light coloured empty foreground with just the seagull adjacent with the darker, more detailed background extending into another scene. One feeling dominates this piece: and that is Curiosity! The seeking of knowledge and what happens when you peak into another world! Excellent!
