I like both of them! One for being a good example of a wonderful shot to take, the other for being the ability to tweak a photo convincingly. I love the scenery.

I very much agree with Olga. If you look at my stuff, you will probably understand why. A bit of cropping and perhaps darkening is ok, but I am certainly no friend of blurring a shot. It is true, however, that each of us must do it the way he or she likes best.

I lik ethis one better.. It is more clear, the other one seems more blurred. Blurred - is not always bad of course, but in this particular case my eyes prefer not blurred variant, where I can admire pattern of the branches. Also the tones seem here more natural and lovely. And the last thing: in this uncroped version I see the perspective on the left, where the stream finally dissapears behind the vegetation. It guides the look perfectly. The opposite side of teh river is also more clear in this version and suggests more details to follow. It's just more enticing to examine I woould like to walk there

Now that you mention all that, I think you have a point XD I'm glad you like this one even better ^^ You're right about the blurring, I indeed blurred the other one quite a bit. What you call the pattern of branches which you can now admire rather annoyed me at the time as 'too sharp'.

I'm wondering how I should update my pictures now, though.. Edited in the best way I can, not edited or both o.o;

Well.. whatever a critic says it's always the authour who decides.. I would advice you to put aside these pictures just for a while..(not deleting from DA of course!) And when you will return to them you will know already waht to do..
