NakaKon 2009

Currently, I have the flu. I started coming down with it Sunday mid-morning, which... was the last day of NakaKon and the day I was in KHII Riku. So I guess maybe my impassiveness and general lethargy helped me pull off Riku's post-CoM depression. Because I'm definitely more apt to being sadistic and critical KHI Riku.

But it was definitely fun to do this costume because it was like picking apart Riku's character. I actually put it on that morning and thought, Dude, I'm feeling oddly Riku right now. It's kind of like completing the whole essence of cosplaying him, from the beginning to the end, because usually I've only done KH1 (and Replica, consequently).

It was the first time I'd worn the whole thing together, and I actually helped make a part of it this time, too.

The blue pockets. I hand-sewed them on. 8D -failure at helping with cosplay work.-

My longer wig didn't arrive in time for the convention, but I swear when it does, there will be photos. x\ Fucking USPS.
