Drawn because it pleased me to do so. I guess I was thinking "Well, Cotton's kind of a tomboy anyway, so why not just draw her as a bifauxnen?" And then this happened. I hope to make bifauxnen!Cotton canon in the comic. It's just a lineart for now, mostly because I'm way to lazy to color it. I might someday though.Speaking of bifauxnen, I was looping this song [link] while drawing this. Valshe is (in my opinion) the queen of bifauxnen voices. Her vocals, minato's songs, and hakuseki's illustrations make a deadly (and pretty sexy) trio. Deadly enough to rival the Amatou Trio? Haha, maybe.

Okay. I'm sure it'll make sense in context.
Maybe it's just cause I KNOW she's a girl, or maybe it's because of my super-gender-detection abilities, but she doesn't quite seem bifauxnen enough to fool me.
Maybe it's the hips. Or the ponytail. IDK.
It's a very nice picture anyway.

It'll more or less make sense in context. XD I really can't wait to draw that part, but it'll be, like, another ten pages until I can. (mostly it's just because I really dislike drawing Cotton's hat and I'll look for ANY excuse not to)
For me, I'd say her boobs would be the giveaway, even though I tried to draw her kinda flat here.

I know the feeling! 18thCentury!Green also makes (some) sense in context, and I really want to draw that part, but we don't get to see that until... um... Vermillion City-ish. Which is a LONG way away... I know EXACTLY how you feel.
Ugh, that hat. I know. At first it was a lifesaver because I couldn't figure out the hair underneath (the top of the head always confuses me) but once I got that worked out the hat's a hassle.
Yeah, the bust too, but the hips seemed more obvious to me. Speaking of which, I keep noticing in my art that Leaf's cup size can't seem to figure out whether it wants to be a B or a D, or somewhere in between. XD Another reason to love vector art - when I notice that her bust is too big/small, I can just fix it then and there, no problem.
