I was going to ask about what kind of rifle is this but I red the comments. The original German mauser was using 7,92x57 right? Do you own one? Also is this rifle a newly created replica or it is an old gun from back in the day?

Thats correct . No, I dont own a german mauser. And this one is an Argentine Mauser model 1909 . With the barrel around 2cm shorter than the german kar98
