lmao so pretty much right after I made this journal I went ahead and made Demi's new reference.

She's aesthetically pretty much the same, the only changes really are the dark rims around the eyes, optional thumbs, and bipedal stature (although she can go quad like before too).

She has quite a bit more character info developed for her now that I won't go into full detail about, just know that she is a shapeshifting entity who has different forms that are still very similar to this one as well as different 'incarnations'. Again I won't go into it fully right now, but she is tied in pretty deeply with my headworld (the same one fumis are from).

Antenna sense emotion (they represent empathy). She enjoys them being touched only by extremely close friends, anyone else is not allowed to touch them. They are also very expressive, becoming crinkled when she's upset or standing straight up when alert, for example.
Extremely soft and dense fur can have any arrangement of markings as long as they are splotchy or freckled (like shown) and contain white and 2 shades of brown at least similar to the example
Lopped ears are soft and ticklish
Forked, gecko-like tongue and large-ish incisors
Front paws can have thumbs or not, she stands on her tip-toe when bipedal, and her hind paws only have flesh showing on the toes
Any flesh that is shown is pink with brown-ish freckles
Small enough to fit in the palm of someone's hand, the perfect size for snuggling in the crook of a neck and peeping enthusiastically
