Can I ask what the inspirations for this were and why you decided to go with the primarily white coat instead of the usual green or grey most aliens are?

OH yes! The commissioner provided me with a collection of images/moodboard to draw inspiration from and one of them was this moth here commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Fil… among the other pictures (which also had lots of whites with black/dark accents and lots of silvery colors) this moth really struck me, so I leaned somewhat heavily on it for inspiration!

Thank you!! I see what you mean too. Actually now that you mention it, the antennae design is based on the pokemon chinchou's, which I believe is based on an anglerfish itself? That could be the connection we're getting :0
