Rubes is an awkward easy to anger 17 year old boy.He gets picked on by the bigger kids in school (mainly Jasper and the Topazes) but is able to hold his own in a fight for a short time. He's in love with B.P. but hasn't got a chance to tell him/ doesn't know how.
