SNOEP'S BACK STORY:
Her life until now has been divided between derision and admiration. Pink was certainly not a color present in the circles of hell. Snoep never paid too much attention to them, she was happy for those who admired her and indifferent to those who made fun of her. Always sunny and smiling, she was, out of curiosity, convened by Satan himself. That day she was nicknamed Sorriso (smile in Italian) by Satan himself. Snoep then took a very special place in the Vestri's family, which is to be the court jester. She was very good at making others laugh that Satan decided to keep her with him; the more the days passed, the more Snoep made herself loved, even by one of Satan's sons, Caronte. The latter had already noticed her in the past centuries but had not approached her for fear of a reaction from his father. Snoep noticed Caronte too for his songs and phrases that echoed when he carried out his work as a ferryman...in short, it was interest and love at first sight. One of her peculiarities, besides having a pink coat, is that she never shows her eyes; she hides them from everyone, showing them only to those she loves and knows she can trust. For her, showing her eyes is like showing her soul and for this reason she wants to show it only to a few and trusted ones.

CARONTE'S BACK STORY:
Satan needed someone to bring all the impure and cursed souls to hell, it was there that he met Caronte. He has the task of ferrying souls through the Acheron's swamps, on the other shore of the river of the dead. Obviously this wasn't done for free, in fact the dead had to give him an Obolo but if this wasn't given, Caronte had the possibility to take their clocks. He has many already hanging from his horns, these will prevent him from dying in case he's breaks. These clocks, in fact, are like a spare. You can hear him recite a thought, the very moment he comes to pick you up to ferry you across the river. It acts kinda like a warning, this thought is “Death..who is not afraid of it? as your eyes close and you stops breathing, while consciousness invokes a little more time, it's fear that forces us to hope that it's not over, that there's something beyond. One cannot fail to be crossed by a thrill, thinking of one's soul alone and naked, tossed around in the dark. Here, then, it's necessary to believe that in the passage from the present just concluded to the uncertain future no one will be left behind, undecided between earthly life and the afterlife and that everyone, for better or for worse, will find its place." You can hear him recite another phrase when you see him arrive in his wooden boat "Woe to you, damned souls, don’t hope to see the sky, I have come to lead you to the other shore, in eternal darkness, in fire or in frost”.
