My sketch for Raffian 's latest Toonami picture, Pardon Our Dust which is the seven in our project to draw the lineup of every show on Adult Swim's Rebirth of Toonami.

When we set out to do this years ago, I honestly did not think Toonami would still be going strong nearly a decade later. The overwhelming amount of shows to represent plus life stuff meant this went on the back burner.

This sketch was done with some light watercolor and tea wash to give it a pop of color. I did another one like this but then kind of abandoned it as it made it harder to translate to Raffian's style of inking and coloring.

I love Gundam Unicorn and Banagher is a genuinely empathic character trying to broker peace ...its odd that he came out looking so ticked off. I think it may be a subconscious thing on how ticked off I am that Iron Blooded Orphans had war hungry terrorist kids. Or maybe its just a mistake, I dont know but it was not intended. I do like how the helmet came out.
