Description
This assault rifle is my favorite weapon in a Rebellion-made FPS game called "Iron Storm/World War Zero". It is used by Stormtroopers and Siberians in an alternate 1960s world where the Great War ended.Related content

Well yes and no! I remember I started it once but I don't think I ever played personally beyond the snowy area with the dogs and their explosive collars in cages... My father, on the other hand, played as far as that factory where you need to steal/destroy a radioactive thing (I watched the playthrough on Youtube since the game has some troubles to play well on modern PCs), so I kind of used to play there and there through his saves

That's pretty much it, yes. Reaching the factory stage but none of us going beyond it, having no idea whatsoever what to do then after escaping from being gased.

If I saw that piece of information when watching the playthrough until the end, then I must have forgotten it... I remember the last scenes though.

It is found out that the commander giving orders at the beginning of the game is kind of pulling the ropes over the war, to make it last as long as possible for economic sakes, thus killing the (I suppose) big head of the enemies since he wanted the war to end. Oh, and the main character is hinted to die on the way back, presumably (only a death sound is heard but since he found out the truth...).

Yup. Well I guess that's the same with people... really obsessed with getting wealth over anything (pretty much like in Iron Storm, economy > ending a half-century long war). Who's gonna cry when there will be no cows anymore left to milk?
