Oh god I swear svankmajer must be my biological dad, First time I saw his art I could instently "relate" to it, it was like perfection, everything I loved in one place. I got the alice movie in dvd! Have you seen otesanek? It's really really good as well

Yesss!!!! For me this is what animation is about, giving life to something that isn't supposed to have one. And yess the sound effects are so good, very inspiring, because we are learning to create our own sound effects in art school and seeing and hearing his movies are actually very helpful!
