The backstory of this character is simple.
Her name is Cassandra and she is a bard. She performs on stage as a man and is addressed as a man. I think the pronouns would also be she/he, as the situation dictates.
Cass dreams of becoming a famous idol, but because of her/his explosive personality, she/he can't get along with other singers and producers.
