Oh it's so strange how different people see different things in a piece of artwork. You see I've been researching dimensions of human personality such as extraverted and introverted, and upon looking at this picture I said to myself: "This could be called The Introvert at a Party!"
As an intovert myself, your work made me rember all those feelings I get when having to attend social gatherings. I do like people and love talking to them, but small talk is not my thing and after a while I feel as if something (or someone) was munching on my brain and yes, as if people were actually feeding off me.
Your work conveys this feeling perfectly, even though it may not have been your intention. Still, I thank you for the experience. Perhaps good art is that which speaks to each person differently and tells each of us something only we understand.
Thank you!

ART IS IT'S OWN POLITICS!
i like...sort of like Cammy Diaz being eaten by the papparazi-nazis.

to be honest at first glance i thought this was your depiction of courtney love. i'm not trying to pull some sort of dave letterman-esque joke here.i really thought it was her.moving on, the mouse in the skull is always a favorite of mine. nice work.

That's amazing symbolism! I like the shrimp and sushi being dipped into her! To me this symbolises how simple, ol fashioned people can become eaten away at by the 'hig society' types. Excellent!

have you ever considered ditching the acrylic and paper and moving onto needles human skin?
some of these drawings would make gorgeous tattoos.

The tattoo people tell me that. A lot of tattoo artists buy my paintings which is real cool. I've done designs for people from time to time. I show my work along side the tattoo artists. I have artists friends that have gotten into it and get their own equipment( which is expensive i've heard). Though I'll probably never get into it because i see it at as it being a "late start" while i'm already focused on painting and comics. Though i love the idea of my "work" being imprinted on people and traveling everywhere like a mobile canvas.
Are you a tattoo artist?

I'm not an artist, but I work at the one custom tattoo shop in town and I've been looking for ideas for a full back piece for one of my co-workers to start on, which puts me in the mindframe of looking at pictures on skin. If I was an artist, I think the transition from canvas to skin would be sort've weird, though, because no matter how good of an artist you are, tattoos can't have too much detail or they'll just fade and blur into nothing.
