Twisterella and Bombcat of the infamous Mutant Punks From my comic Funrama. I did free sketches for the first 25 people who bought my comic. This is one of them. I did them with copic markers.I haven't posted anything here in a long while. I've been really busy with work, drawin' comics, dealing with a killer toothache. Ooooooww. I just got back SDCC, I was there trying to get people to hire me to draw. I had an Artist Alley table but it was way, way in the back, in a corner, and no one walked by my table or bought anything. haha. I was behind the noisy video games. I had to listen to people play Guitar Hero all day.

sorry about your Comic Con experience. This is a great sketch. I write a comic which I'm trying to get off of the ground. Having artist problems, but hopefully that will be settled soon. Good Luck.

That sucks that I missed you! I feel I got around a lot more than last cons but I was still stuck at my table a lot.
I gave away 25 free sketches with the first 25 online orders so I did those a long time ago. But you're still right: I'm exaggerating a lot about SDCC--I sold some original pages ( I sell my art too cheap), maybe 6, and some sketches and commissions. Sold some books, but that was REALLY down from last year. I was giving stuff away on the last day. It was the slowest SDCC I've ever had for selling books. But I had a lot of fun.

that sucks! i saw a bunch of people buying up those big collected editions of Local!
i'll make sure to search high and low in artist alley at NYCC and find you. i haven't done anything on my Raccoon pic beyond the sketch (which i think i showed you, right...?), i'll try to get it done in time so i can give it to you in person.
