Wow! This is amazing - in fact, this is incredible!
Random side note: She is also in Harvest Moon Magical Melody. Which I am buying tomorrow.

She's not the same Ann, though; it's the Ann from SNES, the inventor's daughter.

This is awesome, though. *o* I'm loving these Miku Miku edits. C:

Well, she was also an inventor's daughter in MM, and she has the same design.
It is very awesome~

That's what I meant, in MM. :3 Inventor's daughter Ann is the one I prefer; her design is different than Mineral Town Ann.

A little bit, I guess. Kind of hard to tell, though.

Inventor's daughter Ann: orange hair in a ponytail, brown jacket, jean shorts, white shirt.

Mineral Town Ann: orange hair in a braided ponytail with a bow, yellow shirt, blue jean overalls.

Their personalities are pretty different. SNES/MM is probably even more tomboyish than Mineral Town Ann is, which is saying something.

Well, I lost my game a while back - both of them, actually, so.

She always was pretty tomboyish. I mean, there's Popuri walking around in a dress being sweet and innocent, and then there's Ann.

She always seemed girly to me; she just didn't dress like one. But she was always talking about loving to clean and taking baths and stuff. o.o When I think tomboy, I think getting grimy and dirty doing some kind of activity and the epitome of anti-girl. I've always preferred inventor Ann.

Well, she had to work with her dad at a hotel. She was the only other one, I think. So while her dad was at the desk, someone had to take care of the hotel. She was never inside if she could help it, just that helping her dad came first.
Inventor Ann was cool. Making stuff blow up and all that.

That's why I love inventor Ann more, lol.

I always laugh when I watch that...Michael is just like "ANN! WHAT DID YOU DO!?" only quieter. And he's embarrassed by her, it's sooo funny and cute.

That's what I love about tool shop Ann; she's so quirky, even in the original SNES game. One of these days I'll do a fic about her.

That would be cute to read...yeah, Ann was runny on. But I like how she's pretty much the only girl besides the player character who isn't wearing a dress

I do agree with that. It's not that I don't like Mineral Town Ann; it's just I like inventor Ann much more.

She's more likeable~

SakuraMota In reply to Student-Nina [2010-06-21 15:17:00 +0000 UTC]

She's quirkier. I like that even when you marry her in SNES, she still works on her invention in the afternoon in your tool shed, unlike the other girls who just stay home all day.

Student-Nina In reply to SakuraMota [2010-06-22 03:42:36 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, cause it's not like they were doing stuff anyway.

SakuraMota In reply to Student-Nina [2010-06-22 16:01:48 +0000 UTC]

True. I just like that Ann still kind of has a life after you marry her, through her invention. It's even funnier when she takes the baby out there.

Student-Nina In reply to SakuraMota [2010-06-24 21:55:16 +0000 UTC]

Oh mai. She takes her baby out there? To work on invention. And invention which has exploded. I am now worried about her sanity. Or the game designers. Either one.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

SakuraMota In reply to Student-Nina [2010-06-25 01:10:18 +0000 UTC]

I think it's adorable. She's bringing her baby up to be an inventor just like her.

Student-Nina In reply to SakuraMota [2010-06-25 04:34:06 +0000 UTC]

Awwww...how has that baby not died?
((Also, I like your new avatar. LyraxSilver is awesome.))

SakuraMota In reply to Student-Nina [2010-06-25 17:32:19 +0000 UTC]

Maybe she keeps it in one of those baby backpacks. At least she takes it with her, as opposed to your farmer girl who leaves the baby at home in bed crying all day in MFoMT. >o> ()

((Thankies. I love that ship so hard. ))

Student-Nina In reply to SakuraMota [2010-06-25 22:03:15 +0000 UTC]

Got a point there. Ann is awesome - for some reason my brother doesn't think that. I mean, he was gonna marry her. But at the end of the fourth year, Ann had 4 hearts, and his cow had 8. We like to think they had something going on.

((It's awesome, and cannon, when you think about it. I mean, the dude stripped her.))

SakuraMota In reply to Student-Nina [2010-06-26 00:17:02 +0000 UTC]

Lulz, in SNES I abused the question she asks in the summer that gets you 8 LP every time you answer correctly. I went from 1 heart to max in about 30 minutes RL time without wasting a minute of game time. Huzzah for loopholes!

((Inorite? ))

Student-Nina In reply to SakuraMota [2010-06-28 04:29:25 +0000 UTC]

I usually take advantage of birthdays. Give them there favorite item, it gets multiplyed by more than three, and you can get going places. That sounds like an awesome loophole! HUZZAH!

((Exactly! And when you think about it, she didn't really try to stop him, either...))

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

SakuraMota In reply to Student-Nina [2010-06-28 12:40:38 +0000 UTC]

I do that too. SNES had no birthdays, though, so you had to take advantage of the questions each girl asked you.

((He should've gotten a face-full of underwear, though. >o> It's a lucky thing she was wearing her regular clothes underneath. ))

I miss the endless nights, though...that was fun in the original. Time just stops at 6 PM.

Oh mai. Really? O.O

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

SakuraMota In reply to Student-Nina [2010-07-04 03:45:42 +0000 UTC]

Yep. I typically went fishing during the day time and planted/watered all my crops in the evening. But after you get married, if you stay out past 6 your waifu gets sad.

SNES was hard in some ways though because in Fall and Winter, there wasn't any crops to grow, and this was before mines existed, so there was quite literally nothing to do. You pretty much could take care of your animals and go fishing. That's it. And time moved wicked fast. >.<

Student-Nina In reply to SakuraMota [2010-07-04 21:44:51 +0000 UTC]

Oh now, your waifu got sad?

Yeah, at winter, at least you can mine. Otherwise people would be like, "SCREW. THIS. I'm QUITTING."

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

SakuraMota In reply to Student-Nina [2010-07-05 21:08:53 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, she loses happiness if you're out at 6PM because she goes to bed alone. So you need to get home by 5PM, and then when you go to bed, she goes to bed with you.

At least the days are uber short. In Fall and Winter I would get up, feed animals, catch one fish, ship it, and go to bed, because it would usually be 5PM or at least the afternoon. Occasionally in Fall I'd take a day to cut fodder, lumber, etc.

In the newer games it's all slower, so if you did that, it'd be like...8 am?

Probably. Maybe closer to 9:30 AM.

Lulz, that's okay.

It made the game's days go buy at a much faster pace, which I somewhat enjoy compared to the hour minimum one game day takes in most HMs nowadays.
