At his borderline snappy retort, Larkkit sucked in a breath, holding it for a moment before she released it with a little click of her tongue. The inside of her mouth tasted like bile, making the she-kit miss that previous fishy tang. 'How are you supposed to find her?' she mentally bristled. 'You go out and look, find her and tell her.' Tom or not, the dapple-furred kitten found herself liking this cat less and less.

A whiner, that's what he was, an impudent jerk. He was inconsiderate and though he could easily solve his problems with a little bit of effort, he opted not to, finding it easier to just mope around. Of course it was easier to just sit down and cry, but crying would never solve anything. To move forward, it was up to oneself to make the change and grow.

More of less huffy and agitated, Larkkit stood up and delivered an icy dagger to Greenpaw's forest-hued eyes. "Yes, it does." she mewed, churlishly, not caring about the venom that seeped into her pitched, child voice. This Tom had crossed a line with her. "I thank you for the meal, but I will be taking my leave here. Go talk to your mother, or not, it's not my problem." Curt and to point, she turned stiffly away from the tabby Tom, searching for a sibling or friend she could vent to in order to calm her frazzled nerves.

At last, Larky is getting some well needed attention :'D

This drawing and exert goes along with a roleplay between CupcakeArt98 and I. Larkkit and Greenpaw met under slightly poor circumstances and then they leave in even worse spirits.

I'll leave a link to the full roleplay, but basically Green stumbles into Lark while on his way to find his mother, though he decides to split the meal with Lark instead, knowing Hail would be with Raven. They engage in small talk, mostly Green whining telling Lark how he never sees his mother since Raven and her became mates. Lark tries to give some advice, though it goes in one ear and out the other. Lark finally becomes when Green just keeps whining and not taking action to see his mother, when she especially would do anything for the chance to even meet her deceased mother.

Lots o angst already for my babe. Fret not, she has plenty of friends Crooked Brittle baes heee and siblings to cool her head (notably this next time with her stoic brother, Gentle but thats coming later hehe)
