Oh my god... NEVER AGAIN!!!! Its considered finished but I could probably spend ages going over every teeeeeeeeeeeeeeeny tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiny square inch of this wig and find a fault with it... but to be honest after a burn blister on my finger I'm not going near it again lol.I've spent two half days doing this braid using some lightweight foam to pad it right out so its film accurate in width sense, but as the foam ended up being way too short, I took inspiration from the parks version of her braid by having the longer bottom bit. So it's kind of my version of her braid. ^___^
I'm kind of happy with it, and kind of not its a love hate relationship lol but having this been my first ever attempt with something like this I'm pretty happy with the end result once it's being worn lol. Once its off its a totally different story lol!
I cant really turn my head round much in it, but it looks relatively pretty so I'll suffer with lack of movement lol.

could you make a tutorial? I'm helping a friend of mine and she bought a super long blond wig and is going to do a thick braid but yours looks like a complete sucsess and i'd like to know how you managed!

I used foam batting. I actually used a tutorial that's already up on Deviant Art! Just search "rapunzel braid tutorial" on here and you should find it! ^_^

Thank you and believe it or not this is the original length of the wig pretty much, i think it ended up being about 2inches shorter than it is down (see my other rapunzel photos without the braid for the wig down) but its pretty much the same length as when I wore this wig down. I just thickened it with a 2nd wig and foam! ^_^

the length is one wig... I used 1.4inch thick upholstery foam in stockings and stitched them into the wig and used a second wig to cover any bits of the foam that were showing once I braided it all together.... and got seriously burned in the process by the hot glue gun haha! thank you!

Its tight fitting on my head actually.. it was a job to get it on lol but its lose round the edges so will be using bobby pins all round it like i do with every other wig i wear lol
