Inktober day 31: Risk.
Jerome seemed to me like the most fitting character for this prompt. He recklessly risked the lives of his friends to take down a single huge enemy, then decided to change things around and start risking his life for others. And on the most infamous episode ever, he had an ear ripped off and risked his own well-being to prevent Weed from getting shot by humans, literally taking a bullet for him. As if that hadn't been terrible enough, he refused to get that bullet taken out, risking getting that wound infected and having his body's mobility limited sometime in the future as punishment for his previously cold attitude towards his friends. Sadly, that decision came back to bite him in the ass at the exact moment he most needed to be in good shape: when he had a chance to quickly put an end to Hougen's BS, drowning both of them in the nearby river. He ended up spending his last few moments of life keeping Weed's head up so the others could find and rescue him from the freezing waters they were trapped in.

I really did all of Inktober ;W;! from start to finish!! It only took three years of trying, but I finally did it yay!
