I did it once, so I thought I'd try it again, just to see if the first wasn't a fluke.
It's one of the Loy Yang Power Stations south of Traralgon, Victoria, originally shot last July.

The composition is excellent and very subtle. The more I look at this image the more I see. At first I was drawn in by the intrigue of what was hidden in the fog. Then I began to appreciate the use of lines - the vertical in the foreground are obvious but the horizontal and then the vertical of the fence line seem to appear with continued viewing. The monotones are excellent, and I love the texture of the ground.
Overall a really beautiful image with actually a lot going on... but like a Russian doll, it is revealed one layer at a time.

(Hey, I don't wanna sound poshy and all but you have to say "Bonne mademoiselle", not "bon", considering that the noun is feminine (the ending of the adjective changes according to the gender and number of the noun in french). Well, whatever. Today's french lesson.)
This shots confirms what I thought (and said) a few days ago about you "maturing" as an artist. The only weak point for me is the blurry aspect of the ground, which sort of weakens the whole "misty" effect and, therefore, what I suppose is the meaning of the shot (Well, I guess from the title that it DOES have a meaning, and a fairly strong one as well).
But, well, otherwise, "Chapeau l'artiste".

That shot was actually taken last July. I have so many images on my hard discs that it sometimes takes me a while to get around to editing them.

Funny you should mention that. When I get back from my roadtrip (we leave tomorrow, and are back in 2 weeks) I plan on doing some "creative workshops" on dA.
