inspired by Lovecrafts short story "The Strange High House in the Mist"Where the people wonder about this weird house build right on the high cliff..
And just as surreal as H.P. Lovecrafts stories I wanted to make this picture.
It is a bit older though, I tried to draw more in the last time instead of doing photomanipulations

I'm in the show "The Secret Garden" at the local theatre, and there's a song that the chorus sings that goes
High on a hill sits a big old house with something wrong inside it
Spirits haunt the halls and make no effort now to hide it
And the master hears the whispers
On the stairways dark and still
And the spirits speak of secrets
In the house upon the hill
This reminded me of that song. That's all.

I slept with a light on after I read Lovecraft for the first time (my oldest brother was in college and he lent me some of his paperbacks of Lovecraft's short stories). You can see the chain of influence stretching thrrough him from William Henry Hodgeson to Stephen King. This is the house the Addams Family would whistle past at night because THEY thought it was haunted!
