Totally amazing pano! I love the level of clear sharp detal you have achieved here!
I've been watching you for some time now and I've held back asking tekkie questions cause I know some artists don't like giving up their secrets. Knowing that you have a penchant for panoramas, my initial thinking when viewing this page was "geez you're game uploading a pano this big, we'll see where the joins are." Lo and behold, I can't say with any certainty where one pic ends and another begins. Are you just using PS to stitch the photos or some other program? Or is it that you are using a 50mm? (I've been trying with a 28mm [35mm equivalent]with limited success).
Just as a matter of interest, are you upgrading your lens when you get the 5dmk2? Obviously you'll be down to an actual 50mm and the full frame sensor means light fall-off around the edges.

hi ,
Im currently using either PTgui or photoshop CS3 for stitching , I find that cs3 does a pretty good job but if its not stitching right in CS3 then I use PTgui which is probally the best . I normally have been using a 50mm prime lens for all my panos , now that i have bought the MKII Ill still use the 50mm and probally look at getting the L Lens 85mm prime .

Always have loved the city from the other side of the harbour - pity about the ferry movements you caught in the Quay section, but I guess that's the problem when shooting long exposures.

For poor lighting you still got a nice shot. Love the blue in the water.
