I have a book about the story The Little Mermaid, but why is it important to me? The fact that the artwork is amazing. It’s so soft with pastle tones, I enjoy it imensely. It’s been with me for 19 years now, coming out in 1994. The artist is Fernando Guell and I found out a page with more of his artwork: duckworks.de/site/character-de… Although, only at the fourth page will you see the book’s front cover of the little mermaid. He must have worked for Disney for some time, because I’ve seen many pictures of disney characters and backgrounds.

I did the same design of The Little Mermaid from the book, except of course it’s in my style. I’m not completly happy with the background, I could do better but it will have to do >_>’
