I named my Kitteh Kitteh before he named his Kitteh. Not that anyone's gonna care....

Well, look at it this way- Kitteh is a pretty generic name, and I did name her that before I was aware that was his cat's character name. Now had I known that before hand I would have most certainly considered another name, but as he didn't say what the cat's name was until afterwards I don't feel guilty in the least.
And they are cats- anime-esque cats, they are going to have similarities. But if you look at his and compare it to mine [link] they are clearly not the same character. Now I will admit that this style was inspired by his and other things, but I am in no way trying to rip him off or anything.
