Hi, I finally decided to watch BNHA since I'm interested in creating an OC.
I just finished Season 1 today but I started on her a few weeks ago. While I know the most common OCs are Heroes or Students, I thought that it would be interesting to make a civilian character.

Emi is a university student studying Maya was the one who convinced her to apply to U.A. Maya achieved a spot in the hero course of 1-B while Emi was perfectly happy being in 1-C. As they both were on separate paths, Emi saw her friend less. Young Emi started resenting the hero course students partly due to arrogant individuals but mostly due to losing her friend.

Quirk: Vermilion Feathers (or until I make up a better name) - Mutant
Instead of human ears, Emi possesses feather ears. Unlike other bird or animal quirks, Emi was born with tail feathers. These feathers as well as her feather ears do shed (moult). These feathers are a limited heat source similar to a hand warmer but only lasts up 10-15 minutes. Most who think of a Vermilion Bird may expect her to have a fire quirk. Instead she is essentially a human heater. She can only generate heat as well as heat any living being up (i.e if she places her hands on someone, she can warm them up or in extreme cases - overheat them). The more she uses her heat, the colder she becomes and will eventually experience hypothermia (even if the environment is warm).
