Thanks so much! Masking fluid is common in watercolour painting. It's a liquid that you put on edges and parts of your painting that you want to leave white and not let paint get to. It gets like a rubbery solid. In this case, i covered the water droplets up with masking fluid until the rest of the painting was finished where I then took off the masking fluid with a special eraser then added details to the water. I hope that makes sense, it's hard to explain. xD

wiki says "Liquid masks are preferred where precision is needed; they prevent paint from seeping underneath, resulting in clean edges. Care must be taken to remove them without damaging the work underneath.
-Latex or other polymers
-Molten wax
-Gesso, typically a substrate for painting, but can also be applied to achieve masking effects."

I'm pretty sure the kind I'm talking about is latex(rubber).

Oooo ... thanks! I understand now. I'll have to try painting
with watercolors someday. I haven't tried traditional art for years and years. O.O

No problem! Watercolours are quite fun. There is a bit of technique involved, and little things like knowing when to let paint dry or when to add more paint when it's wet, and things like knowing whether to wet the paper first, or apply paint on the dry paper, but it's relatively easy to get used to and fun to experiment with!

The subtle pastel colours of the flower just make it look all the more beautiful!
It's an instant fave!

Very nice. Although the droplets of water seems like pebbles. But over all it's good
