Or, if thou wilt not, be but sworn my love,
and I'll no longer be a Capulet.
We're reading Romeo and Juliet in english. How tragic. Neways, it's quite a difficult read, but i enjoy it nonetheless.
That...really has nothing to do with the picture. At first, she was supposed to be sitting in a tea-cup (or something along those lines) but i screwed up, and ended up just making it into a balcony. GIRL IN BALCONY = JULIET ROMANCING ROMEO.
Mmmm, i had a background painted out, but the scanner killed it to bits and peices. So i edited it out and replaced it with some lame photoshopping D: The colours are all so off, i really really do hate my scanner.

I know I'm going to sound like a smartass when I say this, and you've probably been told this already, but just in case, here goes:
When Juliet says, "Wherefore art thou Romeo?", "wherefore" actually means "why". She's basically asking why he has to be Romeo, and not someone else.

Hello, this is Elyse's friend. Anyways, moving on. I would like to point out something rather important. "Wherefore art thou Romeo?" does not mean "Romeo, where are you???" It means "Why are you Romeo? Why is your name Romeo? Why are you a Montigue?" She goes on to say "Deny thy father"...blahblahblah, which is further evidence that she is not talking about Romeo's physical location, but rather his "name"

I ♥ the style! I have to read Romeo&Juliet too (Hungarian, and it's work for our summer-vacation -_-...), but your art made it pretty interesting XD...I don't hate the story though...It's a lot better than the books of the year before...

Wow, I love this picture! I like the style, and the coloring job is quite amazing. The colors are so delicate but really add a lot of detail! I especially like the coloring of her hair, and her hat is adorable. 
I like how the ribbon on the hat, her eye makeup, and the stars on her arm all have the speckles on them but are all different designs. Like the colors, it brings the picture together without everything being completely matching, which is a really nice touch for the design! Altogether, her outfit is very cute, and the pose is very well well done; she looks to expectant, and I can see how it would work well with the teacup design, but she works very well as a Juliet as well! It's a very nice twist on Romeo and Juliet.
