Personally, I like Loners the best (independency and free roaming FTW!), although Monolith has Gauss guns - a reason good enough to side them in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl Complete 2009 mod.

It's stalker, it's always worth playing.
the trailer looks good but i hope they don't make it to much shooter-game like and let's hoe the guns won't look like plastic as in CoP.

I play it mostly because of the atmosphere.
2012 we will see.

Let's hope. And, if they'll mess something up, there's always mods! For CoP, get Call of Pripyat Complete, and it will increase the environment, the characters, and the guns - Call of Pripyat Complete AK-74 looks awesome!
