The nightmares kept coming. It was the same scene of being mauled alive by an unseen enemy. Yuno hated it, and with each waking moment she felt jumpy and irritable. Since Zeek went on the hunt, the apartment they shared grew quiet. Yuno couldn't stand being alone, but even if she went to the Den, the kits that would greet her and the adults that would assist her felt all too overwhelming. And even if she wanted to sit down and read, she couldn't focus on her search. She found it hard to look Clover in the eye the more she fell behind on her investigation but the kind traveler always gifted her a smile and a fresh meal.

Per Zeek's advice, visiting the pharmacy in Willow Valley came up fruitful. They had medicine to help aid with her sleep and hopefully put off the nightmares. Talk therapy was recommended to further help and Yuno considered it for the future. But all she wanted was a peaceful night's rest.

However, the walk home from Willow Valley was dark. And while there wasn't a mist to cloud her vision, the sound of rustling leaves made her eyes dart around. She clutched her cane carefully and pressed one claw against her chest to steady her breathing. Everyday, she reminded herself that she was living in reality and to not get her waking moments confused with the dream. The chances of something jumping out at her were slim.

But tonight, something lurked behind her on the walk home... And Yuno took notice.
