hi, you can order most of the statues from etsy, www.etsy.com/shop/originalstatues or directly by emailing p.nordstrom@yahoo.com for paypal and shipping info.  the ornstein and smough set in this photo were original statues make for Namco Bandai, so they aren't available for sale, but I will likely be making 8" replicas in the near future (1-2 months).  Thanks!

I use magic sculpt on these b/c it is strong and durable. magic sculpt is a 2 part epoxy that self dries in 2-3 hours so you don't need to bake it or anything. it holds fine detail and smooths with water- the most awesome clay material i've found. i buy it from taxidermy.com

They are about 11" tall.. the largest piece I will have molded yet; so it'll be a challenge but I'm pretty confident in my skills in being able to do it

hi, as far as i know, they aren't planning on giving away any more of the statues that i made for them. i've been making short runs of miniature busts of different characters from the series and selling them at a price anyone can afford, so if you email me at p.nordstrom@yahoo.com i'll add you to my mailing list. i just started working on a bust of Artorias, and will likely make an orenstein also. i do have a few original large statues available for sale, but they are quite expensive (and i can do special orders too). thanks!

thanks man! I don't know if you do any art, but sculpting and drawing are similar in process- it's all about building the forms and making it more detailed step by step. I use newspaper to make large masses then aluminum foil to build the smaller structures, then cover it in a thin layer of clay; sculpting details as I go. In drawing, you start with circles and general shapes, then slowly define the details in layers; kind of the same. With super sculpy, it's pretty soft so you want a hard surface to work on, like crumpled up aluminum foil; then you can start layering on the clay and sculpting it.

Anyway, I don't know what capsule toys are, I'll try googling it but if you have more info I'm curious!

Thanks man! I actually am finishing up a 2nd, smaller Quelaag, but it looks like I already have a buyer lol. I'll post pics when I'm done, hopefully soon! (so much to do!)
