Description
Space pilot David Ryder, is a stalwart slab of a man. A tough fella with a heart of gold, he only resorts to violence when absolutley necessary. In his line of work, that is pretty much daily.With a combination of ranged phaser moves, heavy defensive abilities, and high pitch girlish screams, Ryder is a force to be reckoned with. He can also pilot any vehicle, though loses one turn adjusting the seat so that he can fit.
Ryder scores bonus damage on any opponent standing near a railing, and his panic bomb strike: "gas expulsion sump" does amazing fire type aoe damage.
A great character for button mashing pricks who like to spam fireballs.

Moment of personal glory here: I got to be part of the last-second staff for a convention where we got the massive honor of having Trace Beaulieu (Dr. Clayton Forrester, Crow T. Robot) as ourΒ esteemed Guest of Honor.
While I was at said convention, I got to see some fantastic Crow puppet dupes, and got a picture of Trace Beaulieu throttling me, as well as kneeing me in the groin (it probably didn't help that I was dressed in black and was a bit on the chunky side back then, as well).

See, that's one of the things about dealing with me; after a while, I stop caring how popular and/or famous you are, and will just approach and talk to you. Β You'd be surprised how many celebrities just find that refreshing, after all.
Of course, it probably also helped that I was the lower-right square for when we all did a mock-up of Hollywood Squares during same said convention, and he was the Center Square! Β

Why is it that the brawnier the hero, the tinier the feet?

My theory is that feet shrink as earlobes grow, to maintain some type of cosmic balance humans cannot grasp. Man the southern sun would be a GREAT level backdrop, sadly those take time to get looking nice but when I do a new stage mockup that will probably be it.
