The tarasque is truly a creature of nightmares. Towering over the landscape, this beast rampages in great liner swathes of destruction. A fully grown bull can reach heights of 56' feet, and its horned jaw is solid enough to sunder the foundation of a stone building.

They are not particularly clever animals, and are driven to such bedlam by one force; love. The female tarasque is a winged creature, and glides above the land seldom seen by mankind. In order to get their attention, the males of the species create intricate designs of destruction in the land, carving deep lines in the soil (and any unfortunate civilization that happens to be in the way).
