Thanks! I never heard of them before (never read the books) and I was intrigued with the various versions of them throughout the years.

Yeah, I wish they had some better reception in the media, but sadly it's all because they were never featured in the Wizard of Oz film, and I honestly don't blame them for cutting out some things that were in the book. It was just a modestly budgeted film back at the 1930's, and that movies since then have always done that when it came to movies based off of books.
