While preparing for the chunin exams, Haruki was sent to Sunagakure along with other shinobi to support the relationship between villages. Haruki dealt with paperwork mainly as she is very prone to burning in the hot sun. Kankuro was given the very exciting job of signing off important documents. After weeks of filing papers in a tiny room a spark was ignited.
