Description Asai Yusei from Kabei Yukako and Rihito Takarai's The Sleepy Residents of Birdcage Manor.
I had a look on some pages from the beginning and there was a panel where he actually smiled at Etoh - I used to think he was a typical sparkling shoujo-manga-dream-gentleman, haha...
He isn't. I still love him.
B-but I really wanted to draw his smile OTL It's just so pretty.
I love that manga so much, why isn't it licensed here? ;u;

What is this work of Kabei Yukako I have never heard of 0_0? Her series Kieli was so great. Now I must go look this up!

www Thank you! Woah, that's a coincidence - I just brought the manga adaption of Kieli yesterday. I like it a lot so far! Sadly, you can't buy her novels in my country, so the style between the two series seem so different for me...And especially for Torikagoshou etc. I wished the manga series would have gone further! OTL There are still a lot of things not clear. ;^; But I love Rihito Takarai's storytelling style, so it's definitely a recommendable read if you don't know it yet. (...but also her other works fuuu)

Oh really? Ah I feel like a style change would kind of bug me too. Especially if you really loved the first one you read xD. I have to be sure to look this one up. I looked up the artist and their art is so purty~. I do like the art in Kieli a lot too. She's so adorable ^_^

But translations are still in progress So we have to keep being patient~

Do you know about the artist's other work, "Kieli" ("Kiri")? That series also has such a beautiful story~ And it's more serious

The manga is actually by Kabei Yukako. Takarai is only the illustrator, but she (I think Takarai's a she. . .) is so talented.
