This is a heavy fishing traffic location (pardon the syntax) and also very old, from the year 953. It's probably both nautical and religious.(:

From 953??? Holy cow, it's still there after that long, in THOSE elements? How come we're not making shit out of whatever THAT'S made of???

I confess, I saw that sticking up out of the sand and the first thing that came to mind was a picture of me, tripping over it...it looks like one of those things the Universe just pops up out of nowhere for the sole purpose of watching me do something dumb...

I want to know more; now I'm gonna look it up. Where is this?

I like long exposure pix and this is good, I wonder if it would be even stronger if it didn't include the sand. Try a crop and see what you think for yourself.

ahah believe me or not, I did that just a few minutes ago! I do prefer it without the sand.
What I need to do is go to the location again and shoot it with a 10-20 or a 17-50mm from the sand. The rain and strong wind didn't allow me to go to the sand as I had a meeting one hour later and couldn't afford the mess. Thank you!
